One Injured After Chemical Spill At Dalhousie University

One person is in hospital tonight following a chemical spill at Dalhousie University Monday.

In a press conference, Mike Blackburn with Halifax Fire stated that there were five chemicals involved in the spill, in which one bystander was injured in a slipping incident. That person remains in hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Dalhousie University posted on Twitter that they expect both the Chemistry and MacDonald buildings to be open for Tuesday, however they request that students monitor their social media for updates.
